Morning Star Weyr
Daemon tucked his wings in next to his body as Demonith growled at one of the other males of Morning Star.
Daemon, I want to get out of here, Demonith growled. I need to find a mate.
"Okay," Daemon said, smiling. "Sounds like a fine idea to me."

Daemon leaped off of Demonith's back as they arrived at a rather large open area.
"Where did you take us?" Daemon sighed.
We're at Tripaldi Weyr, and there's a dragon here I fancy, Demonith sighed. That one. The green/silver.
Daemon looked up to see the large dragon with her rider standing next to her. Her rider was male, and that didn't please Daemon in the least.
"When you mate, I am suppose to mate as well!" Daemon shrieked. "You go and chose a dragon with a MALE rider!"
What is the problem, Daemon? Demonith growled. Do you not want me to be happy?
"No, I want you to be happy, but I want to be happy as well!" Daemon shrieked.
"Who's doing all that yelling?!" Someone shouted. "Could you keep it down whoever it is?!"
"You're yelling just as loud as I am!" Daemon growled.
"Well, I am, aren't I," The man laughed. "He certainly is a beautiful dragon. Strong looking as well. Could you tell me his background?"
"Well," Daemon sighed. "He was the first to hatch from his clutch. That means he's a strong dragon. His whole clutch were rares. He normally gets along with most dragons."
  Demonith snorted.
"Hush," Daemon hissed. "His parents were a blue and a starry white. It's very unlikly for there to be any normal dragons in a clutch sired by him."
"All right, that should be enough," The man said. "Um, you can stay over there until we detrime whether you can stay for the flight. Oh, and which dragon does he prefer?"
  Novath! Demonith exclaimed.
  "Um..." Daemon sighed. "Um, Novath."
"All right," The man laughed as he walked away, shaking his head.

***

Demonith paced back and forth, I can't get close enough to talk to her! Xerith's here, and he thinks I'm going to hurt her!
Daemon sighed and mumbled under his breath, "Maybe it's better you don't talk to her."
  WHAT WAS THAT!!?!! Demonith shrieked.
"Nothing," Daemon sighed. "Go, talk to your female dragon with a sharding male rider."
Demonith glared at his rider as he leaped into the air, I'll do that, and you'll be happy when I win that flight.
