Morning Star Weyr
Not long before the setting of the evening sun and just as Morning Star residents were settling down for the night, Giyath’s bulge echoed through out Morning Star Weyr. She rocketed out of her weyr as Lathtoria shouted after her.
“Giyth! Where do you think you’re going?! There is no way you’re going to rise until I get down to that Feeding Ground!”
But it was too late for Lathtoria to reach the grounds. Giyath had already leaped on a beast and had amazingly blooded it without any resistance.

What? Do you think I want to be easy prey for these things? Giyath asked Lathtoria as she blooded another beast.

No, I do not think that, Lathtoria thought. It’s just that most golds…

I am not most golds!!!! Giyath bulged as she took off into the air. And I’m about to show you that.
Each male launched after her, only to be confused by the loops and spins she was doing. Each male spun in circles trying to figure out which way she was going. Even Lathtoria was confused by Giyath’s antics.

You will never catch me you runts! Giyath shouted. I am faster than a white and more graceful than the daintiest of all rares. You will never catch me!
Both bronzes bugled in defiance and rocketed after her even though they were not sure which way she had went. Dokenoth, however, simply flew back towards the ground.

One down and three to go, Giyath thought as she watched the bronzes barely avoid colliding with each other. Fools! I am uncatchable.
Suddenly, Bazorth and Zazayth collided with each other leaving only Binth to follow her. The bronze was still confused, however, not sure what the gold would do next. Giyath suddenly dove for the ground and Binth followed her.
On the ground, J’can was anxiously pleading with Binth to drop out,
Please, Binth, Lanta will never forgive me!

No, she is mine! All I have to do…
Suddenly, Giyath pulled up, but engaged in a conversation with his rider, Binth did not noticed and collided with the ground.
Proud of herself in out maneuvered each and everyone of her chasers, Giyath bugled happily, but her bugle was met with an even more enormous one. A flash of red caught everyone’s eye as Dokenoth shot after Giyath and sunk his talons in her. He hadn’t given up, but had only been hovering off to the side, waiting for the best time to strike.
Giyath bit at the red, but as he tangled his tail with hers, she subdued to his grasp and glad accepted him. The two dragon fell together, gold and red, just as the sunset radiated the exact same colors.
