Morning Star Weyr
Karison laided in bed thinking about the time he had been expelled from Harper Hall. He was almost happy he had been. Fiatara and his relationship and developed into something more, he was free to write his ballads here without fear of them being stolen, and now, he was a hopeful on the Starlite Hatchery's sands. Life was good.
"'ello, Karison," A voice came from the doorway. "I just got posted here. Aren't you lucky to have a Joruneyman whom you know?"
Karison shot up. He knew that voice, the deep, evil bass could only belong to one person. DERIAN!
"What are you doing here?" Karison growled.
"I was posted here when my 2 Turns with Disafin were up," Derian said. "Aren't you just so lucky?"
Derian turned and made his way down the hall. Karison groaned and flopped back on the bed. Great, now things were going to get diffucult.

Derian will get a kick out of this, Karison, now K'risn, thought as he and his brown Menirth arrived back at Morning Star.
Menirth hummed as he landed in the courtyard of Morning Star Weyr.
K'risn laughed as Menirth finished his humming with a very loud, very on key, 'ah'
"Menirth, was that really nessecary?" K'risn asked as he dismounted.
"Well, it didn't seem right with an 'oh', and a 'yah' was out of the question. I think an 'ah' was very nessecary, and very appropirate."
K'risn studied for a second, "I guess you are right. That did sound like it need a closer, and ah went very well, but did it have to be that loud."
"As long as it's on key, it doesn't matter how loud it is," Menirth laughed.
K'risn chuckled at the familarly Eriman phrase, "We might as well tell the Weyrwoman that Danris and I are back. She'd like to know she has a new brown and a Queen to add to her roster."
Menirth nodded. He and K'risn hummed as they strolled to Zearia's office.

"K'risn, I know that I'm not like all the other dragons around her, but..."
"Oh, Menirth, you don't want to fly," K'risn whined.
"I do," Menirth said. "I do what to fly. A lovely color."
"What about Fiatara's lovely green?" K'risn sighed.
"She's nice, but I like this
green-blue better," Menirth said. "She's rising at Tripaldi Weyr. Her name's Ecanirith, and she's the most beautiful dragon in all of Pern."
"It's just a slight infutuation, Menirth," K'risn sighed. "You don't really think she's the most beautiful. You just say that because you want to chase her."
Menirth glared at his rider, "I am not saying that because I just want to chase her! She is the most beautiful."
K'risn shook his head, "I know I'm going to regret this..."
"All right then!" Menirth shouted as he snatched up K'risn with his tail and glided up over the Weyrbowl, placing K'risn lightly on his back as he did.

K'risn was in awe when he saw the rider of the dragon whom Menirth wanted to fly. She was so beautiful. He had never seen a rider that looked as radiate as she. She almost had the same glow as her beautiful dragon, and yes, Menirth was right. Ecanirith was much more beautiful than Fiatara's green. He wished to talk to Daeleon, for that was the rider's name, but he hadn't been able to get close enough to her in order to start a conversation. But that all seemed like that was going to change when Daeleon approached him.
