Buster is a Pointer/Lab mix. He is a spoiled rotten, old, fat, house dog. He even has his own couch. He weighs nearly 100 lbs and is about 24 inches at the withers. He has no prey drive for anything anymore. He is approximately 12 or 13 years old (I've lost track!). We don't know that he has only Pointer and Lab in him, but I'm guessing he gets his coloring from the Pointer side and his size and structure from the Lab side. We "rescued" him from owners that didn't have any idea how to raise or own a dog. They had gotten him for their kids. They lived in town and didn't have a fenced yard, I doubt they'd even prepared for a large-breed puppy and they had no clue how to train (even house train) a puppy! In no time after we got him I trained him in basic obedience (and I was under 10 years old!), we got him house trained and he became a spoiled member of the family.
