Rieger (ree-gur) is 27 inches at the withers and about 100 lbs at 4 years old. "Krieger" is German for Warrior (though he doesn't really live up to the name! LOL). He loves to play with squeaky balls (I call him a "squeakoholic"). In the summer he and I enjoy biking together. He is very easy to train because he is so intelligent and always wants to please me. He is more reserved than shy with strangers. He will approach a stranger (causiously) to greet them if I tell him to. Rieger is playful and affectionate with the family and he always seems to be smiling. He could play fetch and catch forever! He passed a "herding instinct" test with goats. The evaluator commented MANY times about how extremely intelligent he was and how he was so willing to cooperate with the handler. His father is a good looking & moving long-coated UKC Champion, Tumbledown's Toreador (aka Bonzo). His mother is Shewana's Rascal Regalwise (Rascal). He was born on April 13, 1999.
