01/04/09: Sorry for the lack of updates guys, but Whackbag Films is on hiatus at this time. We never finished Ken's movie in June of '08, it was just a little too ambitious. I myself have gotten back into music full time as well which is causing me to not work on my scripts. I'd like to shoot a film this year but I'm not making any promises...
05/30/08: Filming on the next whackbag movie begins next week. Which movie? Hell I don't even know...
04/30/08: Jasin City is now available on youtube so check it out!
03/21/08: Here's whats new folks: I finally bought a laptop which means there should be some films coming your way this year! I'm working on a new script, there's Ken's movie plus my two old scripts I have mentioned before. Hopefully that means we should get at least two new films this year. I would like to start shooting one movie next month so I can have a film ready for when I visit MA in June. Stay tuned for more details.
02/01/08: Three months since the last update, boy I'm slacking! There will be a new Whackbag shot later this year probably in June. Ken Cooper will be writing and directing the movie. As for projects down here I haven't been working on the scripts that never got filmed. I don't have enough actors at the time and that is affecting things a bit. Once the nicer weather starts rolling in except things to start happening. Here's looking foward to a great 2008 for Whackbag Films! On a side note today is Whakbag star Ken Cooper's birthday, Happy B-day Ken from all of us at WB Films!!!
11/01/07: Happy belated Halloween fellow whackbagians! There have been a few script ideas thrown around that I may start work on. I also have two movies I wrote that never got filmed, "Cereal Killer 2" and "Just Say No." I may modify the scripts and shoot one of them next year. Until then keep on enjoying the first six Whackbag movies!
09/15/07: Not much to report. I have finally settled in and I am working too. No scripts have been written yet but alot of ideas are being floated around. I don't see another movie being done though until 2008.
08/26/07: I have moved to VA! There will be two divisions of Whackbag Films: Whackbag North and Whack South. The north branch is where the first six films were made. Odds are we will see one movie a year from the north division. The south branch is where I am living now and we should see one (hopefully two) movies a year from them. Expect the movies from the south to be mostly horror.
08/04/07: Updated the film info page.
07/30/07: A few things: first as you may have seen on the main page there is an award page titled Whackbaggy, check it out! Second, the outtake reels from some of the movies has been uploaded to Youtube, enjoy!
07/19/07: Good news and bad news: the good is that Wha Happened debuted last week to positive reviews. The bad: due to time constraints and me moving in 4 weeks, Cereal Killer 2 will not be shot this year. Oh well... The trailer for 2004's Punisher spoof is now on youtube! :)
07/03/07: Pics of Wha Happened are now up and the trailer is up too! The movie will debut next week. Sadly the video quality is a step down from previous Whackbags but hopefully I can make a DVD of it sometime soon. (Whackbag movies are VCD's but since I'm not using my old software... you get the idea.)
06/27/07: Added an info page that even lists the low budgets!
06/26/07: Updated the Wha Happened page. Pics and a trailer will be up soon. I found a PC to edit the movie on although I myself am still without one. So far the movie looks pretty good.
06/20/07: Updated some film pages... On a side note there is a script for Cereal Killer 2! Two Whackbags in one summer? It could happen! Maybe even three Whackbags this year? Crazy!
06/18/07: Primary shooting for the next film, "Wha Happened?" is finished. I'm currently looking for a laptop to edit the movie on so hopefully the movie will be ready by summer's end. We shot tons of footage in Nh, almost 45 minutes worth! I'm sure most of it is unusable but this may be the first Whackbag to cross the 20 minute mark. I also added a page under the films section for the new movie.
