The driving force behind Whackbag Films, Rich founded the company in 2003. Rich has had a long career
in multimedia, starting in the mid 80's. Rich used to make audio only films in those days but those
old days gave Rich alot of practice in filmmaking. Rich got his first camcorder in 1993, an 8mm. Quite
a few horrible and tasteless movies were made in the mid 90's. Classics such as Ninja, Dimensions of
Horror and Rich & Mike in Outer Space (a movie made with Star Wars action figures)! All of those movies
have been lost sadly, although an action figure version of Ninja and its sequel are alive and well (both
from 1997). Rich then focused on music from the late 90's to the early 00's. He released three albums
under the name Upside Down (1998, 1999, 2000) and in 2002 he released his last and best album under the
name Overtaken (2002). In late 2002 Rich bought a Sony mini DV and the rest is history. Rich's goal is
to make very low budget movies that are very enjoyable. He has had a role in every film and had his biggest
job to date in Jasin City, where he played four different parts! Rich also maintains this website and has
written & directed all six Whackbag movies. |
