PROJECT PROFILE:
The student will learn to indentify different types of whales and their habits. We will use the internet, real life data. resources of book's as National Geographes.Student will make a whale book.  Also student will, after gather information,  write a report on migration of whales.Upon completion of this unit, the students will hopefully go on a whale watch off the coast of California. 
 

 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
  • TSW identify different types of whales. 
  • TSW learn by site the different types of whales. 
  • TSW also use real-time data to follow the migration of whales. 
  • TSW use a globe or a map to follow the migration of the whales 
  • Student will write a report about the migration of whales.

CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT:
The classroom will be filled with resource material as National Geographic, books on whales, videos, models form an exhibit on whales, globe and maps to chart migration, the internet of real-time data, and the internet to gather information about whales. Then we will make chart of  migration of the whale.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 

TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT:
My classroom has one computer that is on line, We will use the computer to gather information about different whales, pictures, migration, habitats, and the save the whale project. We will gather information to write a report on migration of the whale.
