| Ikaika was born on August 25, 2002 at 11:52am. His mother is Katina and his father is Tillikum. His name means "strength" in Hawaiian. Ikaika is a very inquisitive calf and likes interaction with his trainers and other whales. He plays with Taku alot (and previously Tuar and Tekoa) and is very independent. Ikaika is being trained right now and according to trainers he is doing very well. In shows, he loves leaping and speed swimming. His birth was recorded on Animal Planet's "That's My Baby" in 2003. Ikaika currently measures 10 feet long and weighs only 1,000 lbs. That will change, though! |
