| Beyonce is one of those people who just seem like they were born to be famous- She has good looks a great voice an unusual name and now it seems she can act too!. She was born Beyonce Giselle Knowles on September 4th 1981. She was a very shy as a child "I was realy strange and kind of too quiet" apparantly a boy in her class used to tell her she was ugly and stupid and being unconfident she used to believe him. When she was just 8 years old she discovered a love for performing after taking part in her school talent show. Her shynes soon dissapeared. Her parents seeing their daughters talent did everything to help her. She practiced with her childhood friend Kelly Rowland who lived with the family. Her first group was unsuccesfull and her father who was also their manager had to sell the family home to keep things going. Then came destinys child, the original group comprised of two schoolfriends and Kelly. The group found success but due to differences in the group there were two lineup changes and the group found higher success in its time as a trio. The group decided to take a break after exstensive touring as they felt as if they had been working non stop since they were about 15 without a break. It wasn't long however before Beyonce had her own solo career she has recently released her solo album which she produced and wrote herself. |
