| Whatajack Jack Russells Garry Butler Sydney, New South Wales, Australia I bought my first Jack Russell 17 years ago, naturally it wasn’t registered as this was before recognition of the breed by the Royal NSW Canine Council. His name was Beau and sadly he was stolen from our yard. Three years passed and we decided it was time to get another Jack. I purchased Kelston Becky Boo from Robyn Handley and Dennis Cartwright. Then followed Australian Grand Champion Ozjack Dream Prince (Cartman) who was bred by my good friend Bob Purss. A year or so later, I approached Lyn Brown and expressed an interest in buying a puppy off her. 18 months later Lyn called to say she had a bitch puppy that she thought I might like. Australian Macbraedly Sabrina (Prancer) became a member of our family and my foundation bitch. Through Prancer I have been given many hours of pleasure and have had a wonderful time showing her progeny. Not only do I have a passion for showing dogs, but have completed an Endurance Test with Cartman. My dogs also love to race at the Jack Russell Terrier Club race days. Cartman has been Race Dog of the Year twice and Runner up Dog of the Year twice also. |
