what does mick have in his teeth? - when mick was a boy he saw a blues singer called 'buddy guy' on tv and he thought it was the coolest thing. he promised that one day if he ever had enough money he would do the same thing. it used to be a ruby but he changed it for a diamond for the millenium.
is mick right or left handed? -both! he writes and plays pool with his left but plays guitar and cricket with his right.

where did the name simply red come from? - when he was a small child other small children called him red because of his hair. he was going to call the band red but he thought this sounded stupid so he added the 'simply'.
