Fr. Basil Atwell, OSB
in New England, ND, USA
We had the supreme privilege of having Father Atwell, Kyle's godfather, baptize Celia Grace AND have Celia Anne, Celia's godmother, be present.

Father Atwell has been a blessing and a good friend in our lives since the time he was introduced to us Brother Basil.  He was ordained into the priesthood a short time ago and was able to perform the ceremony for us on relatively short notice.  Thank you so much, Fr. Atwell.  Thank you for your heart and your love and for opening your church to us for the ceremony; but especially thank you for being an intense measure of comfort in every season of our lives.  Your love and wisdom from within the Lord and for the Lord is apparent in your every woken moment with every compassionate gesture.  You have been and continue to be an immeasurably comforting, profoundly soulful, deeply spiritual guide; a steady hand in truth and in the ways of our Lord which help us to remember and help us to stay awake.  Amen.
Thank you, Celia, my dearest friend and soulmate, for being our child's godmother.  Thank you for being there always for me and for this family and for being a constant in our lives.  The love you have given us and our children and the connection with which we will forever be connected can never be measured, completely understood, duplicated or replaced.  You are my heart and our souls are attached eternally.
Thank you, John, for standing with us and being our family.  Thank you for the rich steadfastness of your friendship and your unending support and for your heart that you so generously share.  Thank you for sharing your family with ours and for taking pictures.  Thank you for coming into our lives and sharing the richness of life with us.  You have always been and will forever be etched into our hearts.

And thank you, Nathan, for being the godfather to our child.  Thank you for wanting to be there so badly even though you couldn't be.  Thank you for being the inspiration that makes us all want to be better human beings--your giving spirit, your infectious smile, your infinitely positive demure and your willingness to impart wholesomeness on the world.  Thank you for your kind words, your gentle voice, and for bringing your wonderful, rich laughter into our lives.  Through this beautiful celebration of life, we will forever remain connected.
