Here we have another example of a figure there's nothing specifically wrong with, she doesn't do it for me I'm afraid. I think partly its my dissolutionment with MAC, and then Buffy itself that has led me to not really be that happy with any of my Buffy customs. Also, they were done in a period where I was churning out figures too fast. I like to sit back and enjoy the process these days, and make them as good as I can manage.
But anyway, here is Dawn, Buffy's little sister. This figure started life as a Buffy from the first wave. I originally used another head, which was never really suitable in the first place, so I but Buffy's original head back! I sculpted the longer hair, but the rest is just paint. The jacket comes from the episode Checkpoint, I liked how it looked, so picked that as my Dawn look. There's something really off about the head, it just doesn't look right, but I resolved to give up on it really. I have no doubt DST will one day release a Dawn figure, and probably too many of them at that! |
