| New and improved! |
| This new Kendra is in fact the same as my old one, with a lot of re-working. She was made for the Unofficial MAC customizing non-contest The body is that of Willow, and the head is Storm, from the X-Men Movie. This time around I went for accuracy and style. The first job was the hair - the old stuff had to go - so I scraped it all off, and totally resculpted it in this, more accurate, style. Second job was her clothes. Before, I'd just repainted Willow in fairly poor paints. This time I went to town. I sanded the midriff area, and totally resculpted round the collar and stuff, to make Kendra's wierd little top. I took a bit of artistic liscence with the necklace, having it spill out, rather than rest on her skin. The legs I just repainted a better colour. Finally, I was going to re-use the same earrings - but I lost them - so I made some new ones, out of thicker wire so they would show up more. I'm pleased with the colour of her top, I acheived the correct shine by mixing gloss with matt - I think it looks good. |
