| Here's my Kendra! I hope you enjoy it, 'cause it took a lot of work. She started as Buffy from series 2. I pulled her head off, and also pulled the head off an x-men movie Storm (the same head that buffy.fan used, coincidentally) to use. From the Storm head, I tore of her hair and sanded her head down. With pics of Kendra, I prepped Buffy by cutting her pants and heels off with an X-acto knife, then sanded it down. I began the whole age of sculpting (with sculpey) with the Storm head. I added ears and hair, complete with cornrows. On the Buffy body, I put on baggier pants, a belt, and added a little weight to her waist and chest and sculped a shirt according to that. I then added some to her arms to make her look more like Kendra than Buffy. I baked those, then painted the head and body seperatly according to some reference pics. For the face I mostly used toothpicks. Finally I sprayed it with some satin varnish, then superglued the head to the body, and presto! My Kendra Kustom! (Mr. Poiny is sculpey with wire for the hook, and the jacket is from X-Men vs. Street fighter Cyclops with black sharpie to make it, uhh..black!) |
