From the same episode as my scientist Buffy figure, here is Xander in his disguise as an Initiative soldier! This figure was pretty simple, but I think it kinda works. Its not 100% show accurate, but it captures what I wanted really.
The body is a very cheap soldier figure made by Galoob that I picked up in one of the random shops that sells all sorts of rubbish. I removed the head, which became useful many years later, and added good old Xander's head. I was never very happy with MAC's Xander, I'm really hoping he is high on DST's list of priorities, but also a tad concerned as I havn't really been that impressed with the last couple of waves they've unveilved (Welsey, Lorne, Angel and Fred) but we'll have to wait and see!
I didn't do anything to the body other than painting it to match close enough the episode costume. I also left the head untouched, apart from scultping a rather fat neck to attach his head to the body! The tazer gun is a carefully chopped apart and reworked Tomb Raider gun, which I was really pleased with how it turned out! |
