The base for my not exact Tara figure is a Planet of the Apes movie Dana figure. The first and most annoying job was to make her the same size as Willow. To do this i cut a section out of her legs and then measured it up to the leg and then cut out another section to give her the original feet. then i made the skirt out of air clay and then waited for it to dry. Next was to make the arms smaller to do this i just cut a section where the arms had articulation and then just stuch it back on. Then came the annoying job of packing out her body and to her torso to make it the same size as her asrm as they stick out. To do this i had to take the head off and then super glue it back on when i had finished painting her. I painted the skirt
different shades of blue and the top pink, later i repainted a pale blue cardigan over the top. After this she had a purple dress and a black cardigan but there are not pictures of that one. Tara isn't brilliant but sh will do, she certanly fills my Tara place on my Buffy figure shelf and is ok until a proper Tara is made. |
