Dear Mr. Johnson
I recieed my A-plus because of your great classes and also of my extra attentiveness. As a result of one semester of attending this class I think I have grown very much, both in my writing skills and personality
First, I want to say that the handouts you gave us were very helpful. Before this semester, I always used to spend so much time trying to understand the topic and thinking about what to write. I must say that I realy had trouble bringing my thoughts on paper. But your handouts gave the cure for my writing block. Also, the way you let us roam free with our thoughts and letting us write anything as we please really encouraged me and gave me confidnece. I myself was surprised at the thoughts I had and the way I could think. It was as if an inner mind within me was suddenly let loose.
Besides boosting my writing skills and creativity, you also sort of changed my personality. I was surprised at the story of how you came to live in Korea and the way you respected our national flag and country. I, as a Korea,was ashamed that I was not aware enough and rarely gave myself time to think about my own country. The way you perceived "Jung" and the way you laughed and enjoyed everything around you also inspired me. I seldom see people who enjoy life so thoroughly. Those many things that you did in class gave me a new perspective on life. I began to respect my country more and also tried to smile as often as I could. I am now trying to enjoy every situation I am in, as you seem to do.
Thank you for all of these things and especially for my well-desered Aplus!
I hope you continue your great classes and I'm looking forward to another great semester of your classes.
