Around the World Yacht Race for the Volvo Trophy. This race is one of the most demanding yacht races in the world. Nine sailing ships compete in a race that takes nine months to complete. The race begins in Southampton, England, and makes its first port call at Cape Town, South Africa. From there the race heads to the East Coast of Australia. After a short stop, the race continues around the bottom of Australia to Sydney. Then the ships head down and under the tip of South America and then makes a short stop at Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The last leg of the race takes it across the Atlantic Ocean to the finish line, where the race began some nine months earlier in Southampton. | The drama "Four Corners" premiered February 24 from 9-11 p.m., then regularly airs in place of the now-canceled
"Dellaventura," on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. The series is from David Jacobs of "Dallas" and "Knots Landing" fame.
| Ann-Margret is starring in her first television series, "Four Corners" in the February 1998. There will be eight episodes set to play on Tuesday evenings on the CBS Network. Ann-Margret is a widowed rancher and her co-star SoniaBraga portrays a Hispanic community leader.
