A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME!
Ever wonder why things happen? they say everything happens for a reason but what the hell are the reasons. I mean honestly it would be so much easier if you knew why things happened instead of waiting to find out. And then some things don't seem to have a reason. So do only some things happen for a reason? And if thats the case how do we know which is which? I'd say life should come with an instruction manual but seriously who would read it before something went wrong, and by then it's too late. Oh well I guess we'll never know. Better forget the whole thing and just keep on trucking. What's meant to be will be.
At a friends birthday party!
I hate writing about myself because it makes me feel self concious and egotistical. Plus how do I know what you want to know?
I'm just your average run-of-the-mill hopeless romantic with MS.
I've lived in a small New England town my whole life. I love it. Doubt I'll ever leave New England and I know if I do it will be somewhere with four distict seasons.
I have had a few serious relationships in my life.
I am still friends with two of them. The way I see it
a good friend is too hard to come by to just
     discard because you weren't romantically
compatable. Might sound foolish but I believe in
true love. Soulmates. You know that someone
out there who completes you. And even if it
takes a lifetime I will never stop searching
          for her.
As I stated on the main page I am currently
disabled. I hope to get back on my feet and go
back to work. Till then I am spending some of
my time constructively. I am writing a novel
and write poetry (the mushy sentimental type).
Been told I'm even kind of good. But then again
what friend would honestly tell you you suck?

Just saw a new neurologist today, May 1st. he took the time to actually go over my MRIs with me. Finally I have seen the enemy. My brain is almost completely clean (save the comments for yourself...lol), my disability comes from a big lesion in my spinal column, near vertebrae C5 C6.
                              Hmmm...what else should I
tell you? My favorite type of
music is love balads sung by
men. Have I told you lately, by
Rod Stewart. Everything I do, by
Bryan Adams. This night by Billy Joel.
That type of song. And yes I like
country. Oh yeah I have been known to
      actually cry listening to songs.
Did I mention that I know how to waltz?
In October 2000, the 16th to be precise, I was given some devastating news  in a neurologist's office. I was officially diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, better known as MS. I didn't even know what that was. I won't get too technical here but basically you white blood cells attack your nerves. This causes signals to be lost from the brain and the corrosponding body part is affected. (if you want learn more click on the links under my pic.) My MS acted like a stroke, I lost most control of the right side of my body. At the moment I go for chemo, cytoxan, every 6 weeks. Harsh but it helps a lot. I have been in a wheelchair since August 2001 and just got my power chair August 2002. I've been very lucky my familly and friends have really stepped up to help me, even though most times I struggle way too long before asking. I don't mind talking about it so if you have a question just ask.
