Kawasaki Bayou 220
Kawasaki's best selling quad the Bayou 220.
Back in 1988, Kawasaki made the Bayou 220. Since then it has been pretty much unchanged, for many good reasons. It is torquey, has a really low 1st gear, and is very reliable. The only changes Kawasaki has made to this machine over the years were different front racks, other than that it has been the same. This machine is easy to use, everything is in just the right spot. It has lots of good features, such as: fuel gauge, neutral/reverse indicator lights, 5 speed auto clutch tranny w/ reverse, and back up recoil start, and shaft drive. It does have a few disadvantages. Those being, it has a dated design, it has soft suspension that is prone to bottom out, and single a-arms up front. All in all, the 220 is a great machine in a small package.
