| Some of you Ghostheads or just generaal movie fans might wanna know where these cars are today. Well the next couple pages i will you where they are. First off i wanna thank AJ for allowing me to take pics of his site so i can put them on here. | Well lets start from the beginning; we all know the Ecto-1 and Ecto-1a but do you remember the pre Ecto? It was that black car Ray drives up and he bought so cheap but there was a lot of stuff wrong with it. Well that car wasnt turn into Ecto-1 for the movie but it is a Ecto-1 replica now. The car was rented by Columbia Pictures and there prop deptment painted black and gray. Well after production they return it but later bought it again to turn it into an Ecto-1 replica which the car is still today. I dont have pictures of the car yet but im working on it. | We all know Ecto-1 is one of the stars of the hit movie but as of now shes barely seen by the human eye inless you work at Sony. The car hasnt been touched since 1988 when it was used for Ghostbusters 2. Even before then she was hardly touched. So when you see her on GB2 that how she really look minus the dirt on the side doors. Since then she has her front light bar removed and her engine removed. These pictures are a few yrs old; I'm working on newer ones but she be in worse shape. Just imagine it a few yrs later. Word of caution this pictures might make you upsept or angry. It just shows you how Hollywood Studios treat there props they dont use anymore.
