Today I turned four months old! I'm so happy. My humans take me for a walk twice a day- I love it! I've met Mickey the Poodle, Sophie the Husky and Lisa who is mutt. People over here always talk about a dog show... I'm trying to find out what this is, but I still haven't. |

Hey, I just got back from the dog show! NOW I know what it is. My humans took me to a lovely place full of dogs of every breed! I played with them for some time, and then I met some other Whippets, a Greyhound and two small italian Greyhounds. All of them were older than me, except one of the Whippets, that I realised it was my sister, Irma! We had a great time together.
My human sister called me, and Irma with her owner and me were asked to walk up and down. That was fun, but I would enjoy it more if My human sister would let go the lead and let me go on playing with those cute dogs. Anyway, after that I was placed on a table and a friendly man looked at me carefully. I didn't really know what I was suppoosed to do, but before I could say anything they told us to stand next to a sign that read Number 1. My doggy sister, Irma, was standing next to be, at Number 2.
But the last part was the best one. My humans were petting me and giving me yummy treats all the time, laughing and shouting: Congratulations, Melody! You're the first! And things like that.
I didn't understand why they suddenly got crazy, but since they were so happy, it's okay by me. |

Today I took part in another dog show. It lasted more than my fist one, and at the end I was very tired. However, I had much fun with my Irma and the other Whippets! I was the second best, but who cares?... |

My human parents bought me a nice doggy sweater. I love it! It's nice and warm. |
