| This is our "PEARL" She is around a year and a half old. She is supposedly a Beefmaster - Brahman cross... But in my opinion she has to be a Limousin - Brahman cross.. Notice the loose skin and the red coat...what a mixture! She is getting darker and darker as the winter and her age progresses.. We were hoping that she would be polled like her mom...oh well! We got Pearly girl last year.. My uncle was using my Daddy's land to graze his cows on.. and Pearl was his lease payment!! Daddy handed her over to me.. She had been run with a 4 wheeler with all the other cows.. and was pretty wild... I was told more than once that I'd NEVER get her to be lovable like all my other critters.. Well...we left her in Daddy's pasture and fed and talked to her everyday.. Pretty soon she was letting us pet her.. and after only a month and LOTS of sweetfeed.. she was letting us scratch her all over.. After a few more months it was time to bring her home.. So on Christmas Day 2001.. Pearl was brought home.. |

| Ms. Pearl has begun a new adventure... On Feb. 15th she was taken 30 miles away to meet "The Bull" She will be left there until she is bred.. The bull is a Black Angus/ Limousin cross & he is polled! This bull is massive! - So we may just have a Thanksgiving 2003 calf - |
