Where are you? You're in the glistening sunlight upon smooth waters.. You're the warm spring breeze brushing tenderly across my face.. Soul transcending time and space.. Where are you? You're the laughter that permeates the fragrant air.. You're the beautiful sunset that makes me stop and stare.. Making life seem bearable, Making me want to care.. Where are you? I ponder endlessly that very thought.. There's no answers for this question I have sought.. I know this for sure, here on earth you are not.. Where are you? Playing catch with heavens stars.. Smiling at me with happiness from afar.. In perfect tranquility that nothing can mar.. Where are you? Not in the cold ground they laid you to sleep.. You're in heavens playground, clouds at your feet.. I'm left with memories of you that are mine to keep.. |
