24. The road rolls on forever, As we tread on our way, The sun dims or grows brighter, Weather starting or ending the day. The road rolls on forever, Our weary paws march on, We must go, we must press, Until the journey's done. The road rolls on forever, Out o're meadows green, We must march, we must trek, To the place we've never seen! The road rolls on forever. By Rona Oakpaw, MP 25. Ocean Waves, lapping retreating, from my feet, tickling my paw as I wander. they are angry. They roar at me, foamy white fists beast upon my person. they subside, peacful and soothing once more. By Seafoam Saltspray, WS 26. Swooping gulls overhead, flying over the sand and seaweed that makes my bed, I turn over and groan, the sea itself answers back at me, with a soft moan. I pick myself up and sniff the salty air, wishing I knew why I was there. By Seafoam Saltspray, WS 27. Fireflys I watch fly through the sky, Like little lanterns passing by. I see you fly down to the grass, And flash a signal as you pass. You make me think that I must be, A light to those who look at me. By Swiftpaw Quickeye, WS 28. Seasons Changing When the birds fly away, And the sky turns gray. And the snow starts to fall, And warm houses do call. When the trees grow strong, And the grass grows long. When the water grows warm, And the bees swarm. Seasons changing By Swiftpaw Quickeye, WS 29. They met that dark night, To settle their fight, Warrior and Tyrant did battle. The tyrant did fall, Causing freedom for all, At the hand of the warrior. As a joyful cry did ring out: Fur and Freedoooooom!!!!!!! By Swiftriver, WS |

30. Time Moves On I recently visited Redwall, The sandstone walls were tall. I couldn't take my eyes of Martin, And it got me thinking. Martin sacrificed so much, He didn't give up when all seemed lost. And then as such, He was lauded as a hero. Time moves on, Martin is long gone. But his sword is still there, And one lone hare. Stood staring at a legends sword, It just goes to show time moves on. Speedwell SlingSong Mountain Patrollers |
