Whispurwnds Persians was started as a mother - daughter team: Chris and Leicy Bartlett in 1997. However, Chris due to personal and health reasons has decided to take a break from breeding in 2003. Although you will still see her in the show halls with some of our foundation cats as Premiers. This has left Leicy as the sole breeder of Whispurwnds Persians for now.

    I specialize in Bi-color Persian cats with an emphasis on high - white.  I strive to produce a happy, healthy, well balanced kitten that conforms to the CFA standard. Along the way, I hope very much that our efforts will be rewarded with a National Win. Since I am a small cattery I am able to give each cat special attention.

    I have now moved to northern California taking most of the cats with me. Chris has stayed in southern Oregon. We show mostly in northern California as that is what is closer for us however we do make our way up to northern Oregon at times.

    A lot of my cats are line bred as I have found for us this has produced some wonderful kittens, please feel free to scroll through my breeding program and take a look at the pedigrees that are posted on each kitties page.
