Digital Sheet Music of Irish Tunes
		ABC is a wonderful resource for the beginning tin whistle player.  It's a program that converts simple text into sheet music, and can also play the notated music using MIDI software. So what do you need to give abc a try?  First you'll have to download an abc program.  Then you'll want to download one of the many tune databases that are available for free on the web.  You'll then be able to load abc files of tunes into the abc program, print sheet music of tunes, and play MIDI samples of tunes. The abc program I use is the popular ABC2win.exe.  I got it from a link on Heinrik Norbek's site.  Norbeck's site also has an excellent database of tunes. Another great searchable database is the Woodenflute Tune  Database...it includes a search engine, downloadable abc files, and printouts of the sheet music of each tune.
