Curtis L. Anderson, 49, of Flat Ridge, died in a Waynesboro hospital Sunday, June 25, 1972.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edith Ring Anderson, Fries; five daughters, Mrs. Arlene Blevins, Galax, and Miss Brenda Anderson, Miss Patty Anderson, Miss Vicky Anderson and
Miss Anita Anderson, Fries; two sons, Bobby Anderson, Galax, and Larry Anderson, U.S. Army, Vietnam; and five brothers, Estel Anderson, Flat Ridge; Cecil Anderson, Independence; Gaither
Anderson, Trout Dale, and Lamon Anderson and Oscar Anderson, Galax.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Thursday) at Baptist Union Church, Flat Ridge.
Interment was in Monta Vista Memory Gardens.
The body is resting at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home, Independence, until time for removal to the church to lie in state for 30 minutes before the services.
E. Smith Anderson, 55, died Saturday, March 16, 1985, at his home in the Crossroads community near Troutdale.
Born Nov. 13, 1929, in Grayson County, he was the son of Albert Anderson and Adder Anderson Anderson. He was a member of the Baptist Union Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Hazel A. Anderson; one son, Michael J. Anderson, Troutdale; one daughter, Miss Hazel Louise Anderson, Independence; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys
Jones and Mrs. Ida Phipps, both of Mouth of Wilson, and Mrs. Annie Smith, Baltimore, Md.; and two brothers, Marshall Anderson, Flatridge and Commie Anderson, Troutdale.
The funeral was conducted Tuesday, March 19, at 11 a.m. in the Baptist Union Church. The Rev. Wilmer Shepard, the Rev. Ralph Jones and the Rev. Fred E. Jennings officiated.
Entombment was in the church cemetery.

Estil J. Anderson, 80, of Flatridge died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1999, at Twin County Regional Hospital.
He was born March 5, 1918, in Flatridge to Lonnie and Celia Testerman Anderson.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel Jones Anderson; two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Jane and Lonnie Triplett of Flatridge and Virginia McClure of Sparta, N.C.; a sister,
Hazel Anderson of Independence; two brothers, Cecil Anderson of Independence and Lamon Anderson of Galax; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren;
two great-great-grandchildren; and a step great-great-grandson.
A funeral was held Friday at the Baptist Union Church in Flatridge with burial at the church cemetery. The Rev. Mike Owens, the Rev. Wilmer Shepherd and the Rev. Fred E. Jennings
officiated.

Gaither Anderson, 40, of Galax, formerly of Flat Ridge, died in Galax Sunday night, May 23, 1982.
He was born to Lonnie Anderson and Celia Testerman Anderson. He was employed at Consolidated Glass Co. in Galax. He had also worked several years at Dixon Lumber Company and
Webb Furniture Company. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

The funeral was held Thursday, May 27, at 2p.m. in the Baptist Union Church at Flat Ridge. The Rev. Fred Jennings and the Rev. Wilmer Shephard officiated.
