Membership of the squash club has been on the increase over the last two years, peaking last year at 136. This years membership is up on the same period as last season.
Subscription charges have remained the same for the last few years.
Subscriptions are paid directly to the membership secretary , who then supplies a duplicate key for the squash courts.

There are various categories of membership

Single, the basic membership	£37.50
Family, for husband and wife	£55.50
Junior, under 18 and students	£ 9.50
Rugby, for playing rugby members	£27.00
Business, off peak usage for employees	£52.00

New members should be proposed and seconded by existing members, a £6.00 inital joining fee is also required.
A new "holiday membership" has been introduced to allow visitors to Whitby access to the squash courts and facilitys. The rate is £5.00 temporary membership plus £5.00 deposit for a key, court fees would not be included.
