My Aftermarket Products!!
The mods are great so I will start at the the motor and work my way back.
I have a Moroso cold air induction system with a K&N filter, this is connected to a stock but descreened mass air meter. Getting the air the rest of the way to the 58mm BBK throttle body is a L&G air bellow. I also have a ressitor of 15,000 ohms plugged into the air temp sensor. The intake is a GMPP LT4 model that has been ported to match the throttle body. Fuel is handled by FMS 24# injectors with an ACCEL adjustable fuel pressure regulator set to 46 psi. The stock rocker arms have been tossed in favor of 1.6 GMPP true rollers. The cam is a Comp Cams 306  with matching GMPP LT4 heads that are ported by Llyod. They have  light weight stock LT4 valves and Comp Cams 1038  springs, these are held in place by titanium retainers and machined locks. The bottom end is all stock but a fresh rebuild on it; it appears to be holding up well even at 6,600 rpm shifts. I will hopefully be bumping it to 383 soon.  Jet Hot long tube headers with no cats take care of the spent fumes to Lane's three to four inch exshuat.. The power gets to the ground by a  Spec III kevlar clutch to a stock T56 with a B&M Ripper shifter with a stock knob. The T56 now has a hardened shift fork and bronze and kevlar synchros. The driveshaft is the stock steel one and has held up well so far to the five grand dumps with 26.5 by 10in Mickey Thompson ET Drags on 94 Trans Am wheels. My front street tires and wheels are 235 45 17 BFGoodrich Comp TA on Centerlines 17 by 8.The back are 275 40 17 Nitto 555Rs on Centerlines 17 by 9.5. They don't hook up as well as I would like-the next set of rears will be 315 35 17 Nitto 555Rs. The springs, shocks and struts are all stock, along with the sway bar. The rear sway bar has been removed to clear the rearend and the upper panhard bar to clear the four inch exhaust. I have Granetteli sub frame connectors to stiffen up the car on the launches. This is also helped by a centerbrace under the car that has been modified to clear the exhaust. The driveshaft is safe; if it decides to give lose, it will be caught by the MAC safety loop system. The combustion chamber is help to brun faster by a NX System jetted to 100hp.The ignition is handled by a digital MSD box connected to MSD Super Conductor wires. The spark plugs are Autolite 103's-they seem to hold up the longest and the correct heat range. The computer system is a 95 LT1 ECM with a 95 knock sensor. This is because the '95 cars only had two O2 sensors and the computer is more lenient for the cam. It is programmed by a LT1 editor instead of Hypertech. This is much more detailed for adjustments I want. The rearend is a Ford 9inch with Moser axles and 4.11 gears to a Strange locker. The interior is all stock except for the addition of a MSD shift light in the CD holder section. It is set to 6000 for the street, then 6400 for the track. New plans for the interior is a six point roll bar so I can run more than twice at the Texas Motorplex!
I would like to thank LT4Blazer and Slammed98GMC for all of their help. That is in many aspects including building the car and fixing it the many times it has broken. Plus for my many credit cards (joke) that are filled to the max to pay for the parts and repairs(Mastercard rules!) I would also like to thank my parents for allowing me to live at home so I can afford to pay off my credit cards in the near future. Last but definately not least, my Lord Jesus Christ for giving me the health, and the funds to do this. John 3:16
