The Third Match-Akira Bears His Fangs
Touya finds Hikaru and Hikaru tells him about the Children Go tournament.  Touya takes a look at Hikaru's hand and he notices that they're not the hands of a person that plays Go a lot.  Touya asks Hikaru if his goal was to become a Pro.  Hikaru doesn't take it seriously and says that it might be good to be a pro and take a title or two.  Touya gets extremely upset about the comment and says that Hikaru can't possibly be a person that plays Go.  Touya tells Hikaru that he's been training since he was a young child.  Touya says that he will be a pro someday and that if Hikaru thinks that he can just get a title or two then he wouldn't be able to afford to lose to him.  Touya challenges Hikaru to another game.  They both take the subway back to the Go salon.    On the subway, Hikaru tells Sai that Sai can't be that strong if he only won Touya and that Touya is just a child.  Sai tells him that the game they played was just a tutoring game and the point of the game was to lead the student in the right direction.  They arrive at the Go salon with Hikaru trailing behind.  The game starts with Touya nigri.  Hikaru starts first.  Sai can see Touya with his bright eyes and yet brighter future.  Yet, Touya is bearing his fangs at him.  Sai ponders if he should simply avoid Touya's fangs and gently pats him on the head or....The match is fierce with Touya's determination to defeat Hikaru but Sai will not let that happen.  After only half the game, Touya resigns.  Sai explains to Hikaru that Touya has claimed his loss.  Hikaru tries to cheer Touya up but Touya is too upset to listen to him.  Hikaru leaves the salon leaving Touya saying "Father...."  Akira has a flashback of when he was a young child walking with his father.  His father told Touya that he may not have natural talent but he is willing to work harder than anyone else.  Touya now sees an obstacle that he has not seen before...Hikaru.  While walking home, Sai tells Hikaru that he had no choice but to cut Touya's head off in the game.  Hikaru starts to think more seriously about the game of Go.  In front of the Go institute, Ogata sensei sees Hikaru and takes him back to the Meijin.  The Meijin wants to know how strong Hikaru is.  Sai, sees the Meijin's spirit of Go and also wants to play him.  Hikaru sees that everyone has the same seriousness for the game except for himself.  The game begins.  The way the Meijin places the stone on the board was as if his fingertips were shining.  The Meijin tells Hikaru that Touya plays him everyday since he was a young child and he cannot believe that any other kid can't beat Touya.  After a few moves, Hikaru wanting to play the game more and more places a stone on the board in way that it even surprised himself and leaving Sai shocked and speechless except for the word "Hikaru...."
