Hikaru pauses with his finger still on the stone and then looks at his hand. Hikaru thinks that Sai took over his body and got so scared that he ran out of the room and knocked over the stones. Ogata bends over and picks up the stone and asks the Meijin what he thought of Hikaru's play. The Meijin said that Hikaru's play was a perfect example of pro play and that's all he can say from the few beginning moves but the last move was different. Hikaru gets mad at Sai and yells at Sai for taking over his body. Sai tells Hikaru that it wasn't him and that it was Hikaru himself who placed that stone. Sai told Hikaru to try it again with a pebble but was unsuccesful. Akari sees Hikaru and asks Hikaru if he wants to go with her to the Haze Junior High festival. Hikaru turns it down and later Sai asks Hikaru why he wasn't going and Hikaru says that what would people say if they saw him at a place like that with a girl. Sai tells Hikaru that maybe Akari likes him. The next day, Hikaru goes to the festival but does not see Akari. Sai sees a table with people playing Go and begs Hikaru to go over to the table and see what was going on. It turns out that it was a game for people to solve go problems and win prizes. Sai sees a book on the table called Assorted Tsumego from Touya Meijin's Matches and pleas to Hikaru that he really wants it. Hikaru gives in and sits down and solves the first problem on his own-his prize was a pack of tissues. The next problem yield a can of juice. Hikaru asks for the hardest problem that can win him Touya Meijin's Tsumego book. The person told Hikaru that if he can solve this problem then he's on the same level as Touya Akira. Hikaru stands up and exclaims "I know him!" Is he really that strong?" The boy tells Hikaru that Touya is probably good enough to pass the Pro exam and that he tutors adults in Go. Hikaru looks at the Go problem and just then a rude boy with a fan walks up to the table and places a wad of gum on the board on the spot of the correct answer. He then tells everyone that Touya Akira was a loser who lost to him. The boy at the table tells Hikaru that the guy's name was Kaga and that he was in the same Go class as Touya. Kaga asks the boy "Tsutsui, so how's your Go club going?" Kaga tells him that he was begging him earlier to join their Go club. Tsutui throws the book for the go problem at Kaga and Kaga took one look at the name Touya and ripped the book to shreds. Hikaru gets enraged and asks Kaga why he hates Touya. Kaga gets even more angry and picks up a Go stone and tells Hikaru that if he can guess which hand the stone is in, then he'll tell Hikaru the reason why he hates Touya. Sai tells Hikaru to challenge Kaga in Go instead. Hikaru goes ahead and picks a hand but apparently the stone was in Kaga's sleeve. Hikaru refuses to believe that Touya lost to Kaga and after a fierce argument they sit down and challenge each other to a game of Go. Kaga flashes back to when he was a child and his Dad was hard on him for repeatedly losing to Touya. Kaga tells Touya that he'll surpass him one day and Touya asks Kaga if he wants him to lose to Kaga on purpose. Kaga was enraged because to Touya it didn't matter if Touya lost to him or not. Kaga won that game but once his dad knew that Kaga couldn't be the best as long as he was there. He gave up. Hikaru (with Sai's help) continue the game. Sai was entertained with Kaga's moves and knows that it was not a problem to win and just wants to have fun and keep on playing. Just then, Hikaru hears Akari voice and gets distracted. As a result, he places the stone in the wrong place and gets a bunch of his stones captured. |
