The Fifth Match-Prediction of An Awakening
With a bunch of Hikaru's stones captured, Sai explains that once a stone has been place on the board, the move cannot be changed.  That is the importance of each and every move.  Sai tells Hikaru to calm down and that there is still a chance that they can win.  Akari asks her friends if they heard Hikaru's voice.  They all scan the immediate are but because there were so many people, they couldn't see Hikaru.  Her friends then realized that the person she had asked to the festival before them was Hikaru.  Akari and her friends went on got more Takoyaki (squid balls) and walked around the festival grounds some more.  Then they see Hikaru and runs off leaving Akari to Hikaru.  Akari call to her friends but they just say "Say hi to Hikaru for us!"  Akari walks up to Hikaru explaining that she only came with her friends because he had said no to her first.  He wasn't even listening to her and then she notices that he is playing Go once again.  The match is over with Kaga winning but only by half a moku.  Hikaru is upset and says to Sai that Sai had told him that it was going to be okay.  Sai tells Hikaru that he had tried his best.    Hikaru stands up and yells at Akari saying that it was her fault.  He is agonized about the thought of having to be thrown into an ice cold pool by Kaga after the defeat.  Both Kaga and Tsutsui is amazed by the incredible chase that Hikaru (or rather Sai) did after the mess up.  Surprisingly, Kaga tells Tsutui to take off his uniform.  Tsutsui was shocked and tells Kaga that wasn't Hikaru the one that was suppose to be thrown in the pool?  Kaga forcefully takes off Tsutsui's uniform leaving him shivering.  While Hikaru was still agonizing over the thought of the pool, Kaga throws the uniform at him and tells Tsutsui that they have a third member for the tournment.  Kaga tells Hikaru that since he lost, he has to do whatever he says.  The tournament was to be held this Sunday at 2pm at Kaiou Junior High.  Hikaru arrives at Kaiou wearing Tsutsui's oversized uniform.  Hikaru walks around in awe as he has never been at a junior high before.  He finally finds the tournament hall and Sai asks him what kind of tournament was this and Hikaru explains that it was a team tournament between junior highschools.  Sai was excited and wants to play right away but Hikaru tells him that he won't be doing anything today because Hikaru was going to play himself.  Sai says to Hikaru that last night Hikaru had  told him "Oh, there's a tournament tomorrow" and made Sai do all his history homework!    Hikaru tells Sai that he didn't say anything about letting Sai play.  Hikaru sees Takada's brother and walks the other way because he didn't want to get recognized.  Hikaru then walks over to a table and watches two students playing.  One of the students knocks over some Go stones and places it in different places for his own advantage.  Hikaru steps in, takes all the stones off the board and places them in the exact order up to the point where the stones were knocked off.  The student who was losing got mad and yells at Hikaru saying that anyone can recreate a game if they were any good.  Sai was amazed because Hikaru had just started playing Go and now realizes why he was drawn to Hikaru.  The tournament starts and Hikaru looks at the time clock and not knowing what if was for, hits the button to start it.  Tsutsui gets up and explains to Hikaru that the clock was to time the match and the time allocated for the moves.  Hikaru asks Sai how come he didn't explain to him before about the time clock and Sai tells Hikaru that there was no such thing in Shuusaku's time.  The match starts.  Kaga sees that Tsutsui was using a Tsumego book while playing and stands up telling Tsutsui to put the book away but Tsutsui refuses.  The other team seeing how pathetic it was that one player doesn't know how to use a time clock, one needs to use a tsumego book and another was from the Shougi club.   Kaga wins after only 10 mins and he walks over to see how Hikaru was doing.  He was shocked to see the horrible game before his eyes.  He now wonders if that was game that he had played before was just a fluke.  He tells Hikaru to try and Hikaru tells him that he was and says that it was as if he was creating the universe with his moves.    Hikaru loses his match and with one win and one loss, it was up to Tsutsui.
