The Sixth Match-The Beautiful Match
Tsutsui continues with his game armed with his Tsumego book.  Meanwhile at Kaiou Junior High,  Touya meets with the principal and discusses the possibility of him joining the Go Club.  The principal tells Touya that the pressence of Touya will bring energy into the club.  Touya tells the principal that he is not as strong as people think he is.  Back at the tournament, Tsutsui wins by half a moku which brings the Haze team to 2 wins and 1 loss.  For the next set of matches, Kaiou wins making them one of the final teams.  Kaga wins for Haze, Tsutui loses which brings them to 1 win and 1 loss.  It was up to Hikaru this time to win the match.  Kaga tells Hikaru to play serious and show them his true strength.  Hikaru looks at the board with tears streaming down his face.  He asks Sai to finish the game because he knew that deep down he cannot win.  Sai knew how frustrating it was for Hikaru being unable to win with his own strength.  But Sai assures Hikaru that they will win.  Haze wins the match with 2 wins and 1 loss but Hikaru sits by himself at the table.  Kaga throws Tsutsui's tsumego book in the trash.  The final match of the tournament begins with Haze Junior High playing Kaiou Junior High.  Back at the school, the principal tells Touya how he was Touya's father's teacher back when he was attending the school.  But Touya was too occupied with the thought of Ogata Sensei telling him about the Meijin playing Hikaru.  Ogata told Touya that Hikara had only played a few moves and ran out of the room.  The principal takes Touya for a tour of the tournament.  Touya sees Hikaru playing and is shocked as to why he was there.  With Sai as his guide, every move was powerful.  Sai tells Hikaru to not just play where he is told but to feel the flow of the stones.  From now on, Sai will play games to show Hikaru and he tells him that he should be able to do it by now and that is his first step.  Touya watches each move in awe.  Kaga loses his game to Kaiou.  He looks up and sees Touya watching Hikaru's game.  Kaga too, stands up and watches.  Tsutui on the brink of losing his game was blessed by with a mistake that his oponent has made and thus, wins his game.  The deciding game was in Hikaru's hand.  Hikaru wins and brings his oponent to tears.  Yun Sensei conforts his student for a game well played.  Hikaru turns around and sees Touya.  Touya tells Hikaru that he is angry.  Angry that he wasn't the one playing Hikaru but he will no longer run away from him.  Just as the winner of the tournament was about to be announced.  The student that Hikaru was hiding from saw Hikaru and points out that he is not a student of Haze.  Therefore, the winner of the Third Annual Tournament went to Kaiou.  Sai asks Hikaru now sees that Sai is an incredible Go player and that Touya will continue to chase after Sai with all his strength.  Hikaru is still far behind but now he will take his first step down the path of Go.
