The go club members of Kaiou are concentrating hard but where is Itou and Kojima? One of the members said they snuck off somewhere with the new student Okumura. In the storage room of the go club, Itou is making Touya clean up the room. Touya sees a whole bunch of old go books and magazines and is facinated by them and he thinks about Hikaru. The boy challenges Touya to a game of blindfolded go. The boy is upset because nobody in the tournaments will be able to beat him and why don't he just go and become a pro. The game begins and Touya is forced to have his back to the go board. Meanwhile the other two boys waits outside the room expecting Touya to be defeated. Wanting to see Touya's defeated face, the go inside. Instead of seeing Touya defeated, the other boy is sitting at the table, resigning only after half the game is done with a big gap. With a new plan, Touya has to play blindfolded go against the other two boys...at the same time. The game begins, Touya starts out well but begins to have problems against Okumura due to Okumura's meaningless moves. Touya's memory is thrown off track. Touya calls a move but a stone is already there. Touya begins to struggle more and more and then Hitake comes in. Itou tells Hitake that Yun Sensei wants to room to be cleaned up so they had asked Touya. Hitake puts an end to the bullying and tells Touya to beat them all in a fair match and crush them. Touya sits done and the real game begins. Meanwhile, Hikara has found a new member for their go club. Hikaru leads the new member in by her hand and Akari looks down and sees Hikaru holding the new girls hand. Tsutsui tells Hikaru that to be in the tournament, they need another guy. Hikaru tells him that they can dress the new girl like a guy. Angry, she hits Hikaru on the head and leaves. Hikaru suggest that they put up a new poster with a go problem. Back at Kaiou, Touya is informed that Itou has quite the go club. The president of the go club wants to challenge Touya like Aoki but he can't because he knows that he would also lose. He has heard rumours that Touya joined the go club to fight against Hikaru. Touya tells him that although he has cause a hundred problems and not a single benefit to the go clube, he's the only one that can play Hikaru evenly. |
