Background: This story takes place nine months after the fire that allegedly killed Lucky Spencer. To Helena's horror she died of a heart attack one month earlier (smile.) Faisan was arrested, charged and convicted of the kidnapping of Felicia Scorpio and is now sitting in a maximum security prison. Lucky was let go by the guards and given enough money to get him back to PC. Elizabeth got into a fight with Audrey over Jason and moved into Jason's penthouse (In this story Jason is still in town.) They are just friends, but everyone thinks they are lovers. Laura is still carrying on with Stephan and likewise Luke with Felicia. Emily and Elizabeth never made up because she blasted out Jason for carrying on with Elizabeth and didn't wait to hear any explanation about what was really going on. Nicholas is just crazy and tries to fight Jason every time he sees him with Liz. So basically nothing is the way it should be as Lucky embarked from the bus ready to see the people he loves.
