Farm tracks, Ancient Highways and Bridle Paths lead from the farm to more than 50 miles of hacks and country rides over the moors, through towns and villages and along reclaimed railway cuttings. | |||

Whitegate is the only licensed riding school in the area. This means that all the horses and ponies are regularly inspected, and the instructors have qualified with the British Horse Society (BHS). Whitegate is also an official centre of the Pony Club of Great Britian.
