| Chris began his EMS career back in 1991 in his hometown of Rehoboth Massachusettes becoming an Emergency Medical Technician and joining with Rehoboth Rescue 7. Chris then moved to PA in 1992 to seek career oppurtunities Chris began his EMS career with Donahue Ambulance until 1993 where he then became employed for Mercy Hospital Medic 301. In 1995 Chris also began working for Nanticoke EMS as an EMT and still there part-time to this date. Chris worked at Medic 301 until 1996 when the hospital had to cut operating costs and Medic 301 was disbanned. Chris then went to work for the new service in the area, being Rural/Metro Medical Services which he worked until 2001 when Rural./Metro pulled out of PA. Prior to the pull out of Rural/Metro Chris did take another job offer with the Wyoming Valley Health Care System Chris stayed at Rural/Metro part time during his new full time employement with Wyoming Valley Heatth Care from 1999-2001. After the break up between Hanover Twp., and the Heath System Chris went back to work for Rural/Metro, and for Nanticoke EMS running as an EMT part-time. At the closure of Rural/Metro Medic 16 based out of White Haven, Chris had the oppurtunity to assist with the creation of White Haven Medic 22 where he became Paramedic Coordinator of the unit. Chris is also a member of Luzerne County Technical Rescue Team, and a past member of the Luzerne County Sheriff's Department Dive Team. |
