Chapter 21
(Reagan and Taylor are back at their hotel. Mike’s parents gave the girls photo albums that Mike wanted them to have. They are sitting on their beds looking through them.)
Taylor: Ray, look at this picture.
Reagan: (looks at the picture) When was that taken?
Taylor: Don’t you remember that…that’s when we all volunteered to be clowns for that children’s hospital.
Reagan: That’s right. Mike made a one sided car out of card board and I had that horn.
Taylor: Yeah and we ran up and down the hallways honking the horn and crashing into walls. (Starts laughing)
Reagan: (laughing) That was so fun. (Looking at another picture) Look at this. It’s from when we went to California together.
Taylor: Ooooo…is that pre-hook up with that weird guy with the tongue ring or after hook up?
Reagan: Well…it’s pre cause all the other pictures have that dude in them.
Taylor: (grabs another photo) What was I thinking?
Reagan: I don’t know…you have a thing for weird guys. (Looks at her)
Taylor: What?
Reagan: Nothing…reminds me of AJ that’s all.
Taylor: Let’s not even start now Ray.
Reagan: What I was just sayin is all.
Taylor: Don’t.
(There’s a knock at the door)
Reagan: (getting up to answer it) Just admit you like him and get over it.
Taylor: (sticks her tongue out)
Reagan: That’s mature. (Opens the door) Hi Kim. Come on in.
Kim: (walking in) Thanks. (Sits down next to Taylor) I have something that will cheer you guys up.
Taylor: What is it?
Kim: Concert tickets.
Taylor: (eyes bug out) To who?
Kim: Nope…you’ll just have to wait and see.
Reagan: When’s the concert?
Kim: Tomorrow.
Taylor: What should we wear?
Kim: Anything you want to…as for now…I’m taking you guys out to dinner…my treat.
Reagan: You don’t have to do that.
Kim: Yes I do. Come on guys. (Kim grabs Taylor and Reagan’s hands and starts to pull them out) Our reservations are for 5…which means we have to leave now.
Taylor: Well if you insist…we’ll have to go.
(The girls garb their stuff and go out to dinner with Kim. The next day the girls arrive at the arena and sit in their seats.)
Reagan: Why does this stage look familiar?
Taylor: I don’t know. I thought it was just me.
Kim: I hope you guys didn’t see them in concert already.
Taylor: Who is it?
Kim: You’ll see.
(Just then, the lights go down and the music starts. The song…Everyone.)
Taylor: (puts her head in her hands) Oh god.
Kim: Surprise. I knew you guys liked them so I used my contacts to get you guys tickets. You like?
Reagan: (Laughing) Yeah. Thanks Kim.
(The boys run to do a wardrobe change)
AJ: (while changing) Man, I can’t get Taylor off my mind.
Brian: That’s a good thing right?
AJ: Man, it’s like I see her everywhere.  I even see her in the audience tonight.
Nick: Where?
AJ: A few rows back, center stage. (The boys go back to the stage)
(While they perform, Nick looks at AJ who just nods his head in the girls direction, Nick sees the girls, and his eyes widen)
(With the girls)
Kim: Did you see that?
Taylor: What?
Kim: AJ and Nick keep on looking over here.
Taylor: (eyes widen)
Reagan: Probably looking at some other girls.
(The guys wave to Reagan and Taylor)
Kim: Did they just wave to you guys?
Taylor: (hiding behind her hands again) Oh god.
Reagan: Um, I don’t think so.
