Ann: Maybe we should end this party. It didn’t quite end up like we all thought it would. Howie: That’s for sure. Kevin: I’m going to check on Kayla. Sorry about this guys. I’ll see you tomorrow, Ok? Liz: Yeah don’t worry about it Kevin. Charlie: I’m going to check on Kayla too. (everyone else leaves. Ann is left cleaning up…which she doesn’t mind…Kayla, Kevin, and Charlie are upstairs and Carol is out) (The next day in Alexa’s house) Elena: Ummm, Alexa can you help me to the bathroom. Alexa: Can you believe he said that to me? Elena: Cause I really got to go and you threw my crutches over there. Alexa: He is so inconsiderate. He only thinks about himself, no one else. Elena: Yeah, ok. I can’t walk Alexa. Can you at least get me my crutches? Alexa: What? Oh I’m sorry. Here. (Hands Elena her crutches) Elena: (gets up and goes into the bathroom) (doorbell) Alexa: What are you doing here? Brian: I came to talk to you. I don’t like how things ended last night and I came to talk it out. Alexa: What’s there to talk about, you want me to go on tour with you and you don’t want me to go back to college. I think I’m very clear on the subject. (Elena comes out of the bathroom) Elena: Oh…I think maybe I’d be safer in the bathroom. (she goes back in) Brian: Can we talk about this like adults? Alexa: I thought we were. Brian: You called me a little Backstreet Boy, is that an adult answer? Alexa: It is from this adult. Brian: Well I don’t like the way (pointing to Alexa) this adult is acting. Alexa: Well that’s because I’m not acting like the girlfriend you want me to be. Brian: Well this was a mistake. I shouldn’t have come here. Alexa: Yes this whole thing was a mistake. The job, the relationship, and now this argument. Brian: What are you saying? Alexa: I think it’s time you find the girlfriend that I was supposed to be. Cause it’s obviously not me. Brian: (walks out and leaves) Alexa: Grrrr he makes me so angry. You can come out Elena. Elena: (from inside bathroom) Are you sure? You aren’t going to throw anything right? Alexa: I’m sure. |
