Per frog, 10 gallons of water is needed. Do not use distilled water. Tap water and adding something that removes toxic metals & chlorine is fine.
Undergravel filtration system with very fine gravel can be used. The reason for the very fine gravel is so the frog can pass it if it is eaten. These frogs are kinda messy so cleaning of the tank and water changes should be frequent. Make sure you have nothing metal in the tank as metal ions very extremely toxic for them.
Avoid temperature fluctuations and extremes. The tank should not be exposed to direct sunlight. The most comfortable temeratures are between 60-74 degrees. They require no special lighting. If you do want to add lighting, flourescent is good as it does not produce heat and creates enough light to view the animal.
These frogs are Olympic jumpers, so make sure you have a lid for your tank. They also need hiding places like rocks or driftwood. Try to avoid real plants as they are also natural diggers. Plastic plants (make sure they can't eat any part of the plant) will do just fine.
