Saffie came into our lives September 2000. She wasn't here for very long but she touched so many lives.
Saffie was the sweetest ferret. She loved to be held and petted. Several nights I would wake to find her sleeping beside me in my bed. She would ever bite anyone.
Unfortunatly, Saffie was also very sick ever since I first got her. She became worse and was taken to the vet. Since most vets don't know alot about ferrets I was refured to the Texas A&M Small Animal Vet School in College Station, TX. Saffie was admited 12/13, her outlook wasn't so good.
Friday night I received a call from the vet saying that they still could not find out the exact cause of her sickness and that she was getting very depressed. I made the trip up to see her the next day. Minutes before I got there, sweet little Safie had passed away.
She will be greatly missed and was greatly loved.
