I wish I could say that I'd played this one, guys, but I haven't - all I have is second hand information that you could find anywhere else, although I should point out that the talking cat creatures reappear in Phantasy Star 2 on Dezoris and that Alis Landale is remembered in Phantasy Star 4 - from beginning to end, the cycle is completed, blah, blah ,blah | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Ah-ha! Now, this one I HAVE played, and it was a damn fine game at that... It was also ROCK HARD, so watch out RPG newbies, this game'll make a Palman out of you, believe me. There is a great debate that rages between "those in the know" over which of the two games is better - PS2 or PS4. Well, to throw my two cents in, PS4 shits all over PS2 in terms of graphics, and in cut scenes, but PS2 offers a longer and harder challenge - the Dark Force in this game is the hardest of them all, believe me! | Oh yes, the abysmal Generations of Doom. I've got nothing to say about this one, guys, except that some very canny kids are working on upgrading and updating this game to make it what it should've been, rather than an embarrasment to the hallowed Phantasy Star name.... | This game is pure gold - the depth of character, the plot twists, the more logical party system (PS2's version meant that you never used some characters AT ALL) Phantasy Star 4 was, to be honest, one of my finest gaming experiences yet... The famous of Alys Brangwin is a tear-jerker of the highest degree - and I've reproduced the pics below from my PS4 emulator (where all the pics will be coming from now - no more plagiarism for me!) which recreates the scene to some degree - oh and by the way, PS4 was the place where our favourite Albino Motavian was born - remember him? What more can I say? Do yourself a favour - search high and low, but find this game - you'll never forget this epic adventure. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
