                  State Bird - Northern Cardinal
                  State Insect - Monarch Butterfly
                  State Fish -  Bluegill
                  State Prairie Grass - Big Blue Stem
                  State Tree - White Oak
     
     (a) The class presentations could include all, or specific symbols         
          of interest/hand out sheets of information and worksheets/
          "hands on" activities to involve the students.

II.  "Pests and Pets of Nature" Gr. K - 3
       Topic content is the "interesting" creatures of nature and their
        habitats, and how we need them and they need us to take care
        of them.
