These paintings were done for a series I did last year dealing with the emotions related to the relationship between God and the Christian. I tend to be very realistic so I actually painted all these paintings in a more realistic fashion, but I didn't like them because they didn't express the emotion I was trying to get across. So I repainted all of them in a very loose, fast and furiouse fashion ( It was getting to be the end of the semester, too) It really helped me loosen up and I think they turned out really well. |
