A:
Altar- A place made by a witch to honor the goddess and gods,  used when performing ceremonies.
Amyranth- Very secretive coven that practices the old Woodbane ways of stealing power and sending out the dark wave.
Arnica montana- A homeopathic medicine.
Athame- A witchs knife or blade. Used when invokiug and banishing the elements and other energies.
Athar- Hunters cousins name- means Sky

B:
Banish- To get rid of something. To send it away.
Beltane- Means ‘bright fire’ in Gaelic. One of the sabbats also.
Belwicket- Maeves Woodbane coven.
Besom- A broomstick used to sweep the circle clean of unwanted energies.
Bespelled runes- Also called Sigils.
Bind- To stop, to restrain from doing magic
Bith Dearc- Opening to the shadow world.
Blood Witch- A person that their ancestorys where witchs and in so was born a blood witch.
Bradhadair- Firestarter- Morgans mothers coven name.
Braigh- A silver chain put on a witch to stop them from using magic.
Book of Shadows- A personal record or journal of all your magical workings, thoughts, and feelings.

C:
Candles- Used in making magic.
Casting the Circle- When you create a Sacred Space of protection used by witchs.
Cauldron- A three legged pot used to brew potions and also used for scrying.
Chalice- Can be a wine goblet, champange glass.  
Cloak- A robe worn by a witch when doing magic.
Coven- A group of witchs that do magic together, a family group.
Craft- One of the terms for witchcraft.
Crystals- Used in magic for healing, protection, and mental clarity.
Cumhachd- Power you feel in you raised from a circle.

D:
Dark Wave- Was created by a Wodebayne and is used to wipe out Witches and Covens.
Deosil- Clockwise or Sunwise.
Divination- A way to see things that are you normally not  able to see.

E:
Elements- The  elements of Earth, Air, Fire ,Water and Spirit.  Used to help cast a circle.
Enchanted Leug- Used to scry with. It is usually bloodstone, hematite or crystal.
Esbat-  Moon gatherings. There are 13 each with a different name and different magic making qualities. Meetings.

F:
Fire Scrying- Using fire to see things from past, present, and future. The hardest form of scrying for a witch.

G:
Giomanach- Meaning Hunter. Cal's half brother.
Glamor- A spell used to change ones features, appearence.
Goblet- A type of cup used to drink from.
Goddess- The creator of the universe and everything in it.
Great Trial- A mortal test that a witch chooses to take.  If he/she should pass they will have great power but to fail would mean ones death.
Grounding- Sending the Goddess's power back to the earth, back to her.

H:
High Priestess/ High Priest- The leader of a coven.  Is responsible for all members.

I:
Incantation- Spell
Incense- Fragrant herbs, flowers, woods, or oils burned during spellworking.
Initation-  When you become part of a coven or take the rite yourself.
International Council of Witches- A group of elders that carry out the laws so that Witches do not abuse them.
Invoke- To call upon the goddess and god.

K:
Karma- The law of cause and effect.
Killian-  Meaning Strife. The name of Morgans brother.
Kithic-  Gaelic term for left handed.  Skys covens name.

L:
Leug- Used for scrying.
Lore- Knowledge handed down from generation to generation.

M:
Mabon- Refering to one of the sabbats.
Magesight- Witches sight which enables them to see in the dark
Magic- Creating change by force of will.
Maroc Dath- Menstrual blood usually of a virgin.
Maroc Dant- Mayapple, a wild plant with a white flower.
Maypole- Used for the Beltane festival. Has ribbons decorating it.
Muirn beatha dan-  A witchs soulmate.

N:
Night Visions- Used as a tool to deciper something thats going to happen.
o:
Occult- Hidden, anything which is not understood and is therefore feared.

P:
Pentacle- Five pointed star with the points touching but not going over the  circle. It symbolizes the five elements together with the circle of power.
Pentagram- A five pointed star not enclosed in a circle.
Poppet- A cloth doll made to resemble a person.
Powersink- Place where magick is the strongest.
Purify- To cleanse of negative energy.

R:
Reining- To temporaily take a witches power.
Robe- The traditional outfit of a witch when not working skyclad.
Ritual- A routinely repeated action.
Runes- Each one has a differen't symbol on it. Used to do readings, and also used for protection or spells.

S:
Sabbat- A seasonal festival. There are 8 sabbats in the witchs calender also known as the Wheel of the Year.
Salt- Used to purify a circle.
Samhain- Witches New Year
Scrying- Divination. Using Water, Fire, or stone to see something from past, present or future that normally you wouldn't be able to see.
Seeker- A chosing witch that works for the International Council of Witches and investages misuses of power. A Seeker can strip a witch of his or hers powers.
Seomar- A place used by a witch to work magic.
Sgath- Darkness- Cals coven name.
ShapeShifting- When a witch turns into an animal.
Sigil- A drawing used in magick.
Skyclad- Naked.
Spells- A set of words or  actions designed to bring about something.

T:
Taibhs- A dark gathering of power and hunger that kills.
Tarot Cards- Used as a divination tool.
Tath meanma- When two minds join and share information with eachother.
Tath meanma brach- Joining of the minds when two witchs come together and one witch takes the knowledge known by the other witch and copies it into her mind.  Can cause serious damage to brain if not done right. Very Painful and Risky.
Three Fold Law- Wiccans believe that whatever you do comes back to you three times. So they always say to do only good.
True Name- Every witch has a true name that only they know and the goddess knows. If someone was to have your true name they could use it to hurt you.

V:
Visualize- Seeing with the minds eye.  Seeing, hearing, smelling, feeling.

W:
Wand-  Witches tool used to direct energies.
Warding Spell- a spell used to keep evil away.
Watch Towers- The four directions in a magickal circle.
Weather Magick- When a witch uses a spell to change the weather.
Wheel of the Year- Eight spoke wheel of holy days and seasons that make up a year.
Wicca- The ancient art, craft, and religion of witchcraft.
Wiccan Name- A name you chose to go by that is NOT your true name.
Wiccan Rede- Witches code of ethics. And it harm none, do what ye will.
Widdershins- Counter clockwise, the opposite of Deosil.
Witch Fire-Some witches could shoot a ball of electricity out of their hands.
