| Feb 12, 2002 As you will see there is a sort of tag board now on the site. It's the best I can do with not paying for this site. When I start paying I will get one like Melysa's till then this one will have to do. The only thing is that you should type your name then your message. Thats about the only difference. That and it takes about 10 secs to post between messages meaning if someone post and you do at the same time one will make it and one won't so just wait a sec and see if it takes. If not then post again. Well thats all!! Bye! |

| July 21, 2002 Hey all. I guess I lost the old news link that was for April/May. I know it's got to be around here somewhere. Anyway I am finally finishing up on the Time line. Some of you have seen Melysa's already. Mine won't be like hers. I have decided not to have any info in it that might give away a spoiler. It'll have everyone in it just not what a lot of the associations are. Hopefully this way everyone can look at it and not be worried about spoilers. Also I have 4 new projects underway. I was rereading sweep the other day and I came across Origins. I read it and found some things in there. One is where it talks about drawing down the moon and also of the Wiccan Rede. A lot of non wiccan readers may not know what that means so I am going to include them on the site. While I was reading I also came across the Burning Times and also the Charge of the Goddess. So I am adding them also. So thats my little bit of info. Not to much longer and Reckoning comes out! It's sad to see this series coming to an end. I wish Cate all the best. Thats it for now! |
| July 24, 2002 Well I remembered this time to update the news section. lol. I added a new chatroom. We'll see if this one works any better. You don't need to registure or any of that crap. I remembered to add Justines BOS entries to the Seeker book page. I had forgotten all about that one. The Wiccan Rede is all up and done as is the Burning Times and the Charge of the Goddess. I couldn't find the link to link the pic back on the goddess page so if it's someones pic that you know or yours that you made let me know and I will link it or remove it if you want. I got it threw a stationary group I am in. I added some more words to the Sweep Dictionary and I colored the ones in pink that are only sweep made up words. I added some more Colors info and also some more Stone info on there appropriate pages. All that's left is the timeline to put up. Which I will do that soon. I was going to put up the charge of the god but I got to thinking that it really isn't mentioned in sweep and I am trying to keep this site as sweep related as I can. Even though it is running over with Wicca things. But thats expected cause of all the things I have listed they are mentioned in the book series. Some people have said why do you have so much Wiccan content if this is suppose to be a Sweep Book Site?? Well my answer is that now a lot of people are getting interested in Wicca due to this series and it's a good idea that they just don't go jumping head first into it as a fad not knowing what they are doing. This way with the little info I have here and yes I do consider it only a small piece of info cause there is so much to Wicca and it will take a lifetime to learn that they can browse and see and understand what is real and what is not and how it all comes together. They will see that there is a lot to it and then maybe 30% of the people that read the book out of the 100% will actually think it threw and really see the real truth of Wicca and what it is and not the "Ohhh wicca is cool I can shoot witchfire like morgan" phase. So thats why there's all the Wiccan content. Okay enough talking... I am off to go do some more research! Just gotta love that! Bye peeps! |
| October 2002- Well folks it looks as if Sweep may continue for a little longer. From the way it looks the publishers said the sales went up a little so they are thinking about doing a Super Edition. It's not going to be another series or adding on to the 14 to make it number 15, it's looking like it might just touch on somethings that were kinda left hanging that we all have questions about. I don't know about the rest of you but I don't feel like I have gotten closer yet on this series. There is so much more to tell. So lets keep our fingers crossed that it does happen. |
| September/October 2002, Well I think I have about everything updated on this site. I still need to do the Time line. I keep putting it off. Shame on me! There is just a lot of other things that have my attention right now. I updated just about all the BOS entries so I think I am set on those Well that's it for now. |
| December 13, 2002 You see that's the bad part about having that little tagboard on the mainpage. I write things in there and forget to write them here. lol. Shame on me. So okay quick run down on past event.... I talked a while back to Stephanie Lane and she said that yes there is to be a Super Sweep. It is being worked on as we speak. So far they have come up with the title "Nights Child." Now of course this could change as we have seen the titles change in the past. It looks to be out in August of 2003. Ms.Lane said it would take that long due to writing us a good story which ties up loose ends and the amount of time it will take to check grammer and then to print and get it to us. It's looking to be at least 300 pages. That made me pretty happy right there. I know I still haven't got the timeline done. I have had to share the computer and I never get to get on here anymore. So I have decided today that I am going to my other home and getting my old computer so I will at least have something to work on. So that's all the news for now. It's friday the 13th! woo-hoo!
