| Iberostar Paraiso Lindo, located in Riviera Maya, Mexico was the destination of choice for the annual Halvorsen Clan Vacation. The Whitey clan cashed in some frequent flyer miles and joined the Halvs for a week of fun in the sun. The photos above are of the many waterscapes and pools around the hotel. |

| Lots of activities to be had... Whitey 42 - G 33 Target Shooting The resort was truly a cruise ship the size of a golf course. As mentioned above, pools, restaurants, and bars galore. When gluttony wasn't going on, there was water polo, scuba, wave pools, ocean kayaking and hobie cats, archery, volleyball, rifle range shooting, ping pong, and all kinds of other sporting and dance contests. Matt even beat his older brother Ryan in a burping contest! |

| Wining and Dining... "I Gained 7 pounds. That's a pound a day!" ~ Whitey So many dining choices, so little time... This all-inclusive resort included 7 gourmet restaurants, several buffets and ice cream bars, and of course CJ's favorite restaurant called "Room Service". Did we mention drinks? |

| Deneen and CJ on the beach painting pottery. Both pieces came out really sweet... Below that, the wave pool would crank up every hour for about 15 minutes. Kids would drop out of the sky for the wave delights. Luckily for the adults, there was a well positioned bar right in front. On the right, CJ, Whitey and G wearing the yellow water polo hats. A fierce game ensued at high noon. The yellow hat team won, and were presented t-shirts at the evening's theater show. Good thing too, none of us packed enough shirts, so you saw a lot of those white and yellow tops poolside! |
